The youth exchange in beautiful Italy has ended and our participants are ready to share their expirience!

This was my 5th event from Erasmus+ and it was incredible, I will not get tired of filling out the forms for participation, because you did not sell such an experience anywhere 🙂 We talked about peace, so at times it was difficult, because what is peace? How can we talk about peace when the country is at war.For me, this project became such a “turning point” because for the first time I talked about what happened to me in English, so that other participants understood that this really happens to us every day. Thanks to this project for new friends and a new country that I managed to visit! Do not be afraid, fill out the forms, because there may not be another chance.

As a translator, I was very interested in intercultural dialogue and learned a lot of things about different world peace building approaches. The project gathered young people from different countries, and this created a unique atmosphere for the exchange of experiences, ideas and traditions. This experience was a real inspiration for me.
I am grateful to the organizers for making this project possible and to all participants for their friendly support and unforgettable moments. Thank you to the organizers for creating a better world and giving young people the opportunity to improve and learn new things! I am sure that this exchange was an important step in my professional and personal development.
The Ukrainian team demonstrated a high level of knowledge at all stages of the project. We discussed specific steps to reach specific goals and shared best practices for their implementation in our future. I express my deep gratitude to the “EUclub Kremenchuk” for the chance to join this project. I really value your trust and support, which allowed me to get new knowledge and skills for my growth. This project has become an valuable aspect of my professional and personal progress, providing us with useful knowledge and skills that we can use in our future projects. The significance of such events is multifaceted! Study, improve yourself, and become better and better every day!

My overall impressions of the youth exchange in Italy were positive. I especially enjoyed being part of the Ukrainian group — we communicated well, supported each other, and had a great time together. The participants from other countries were also very nice and open to new acquaintances and communication, which made the exchange atmosphere friendly and pleasant. However, the organization of the exchange left somewhat mixed impressions. We were accommodated separately from participants from other countries, which made intercultural interaction a bit more difficult. The sessions were also not very meaningful or well thought out, which gave the feeling that they lacked depth and clear planning. Nevertheless, there was a great opportunity to create and lead our own session, allowing us to express ourselves and try something new. Overall, despite certain shortcomings, the exchange was an interesting and valuable experience that left pleasant impressions and great memories.

During the exchange “Promoting peace awareness among youth” in Italy, we had a great time, had the opportunity to talk about conflict-free communication, peace, and the situation in our country. It was a good opportunity to talk about what is happening in our country now, to share our thoughts with participants from other countries and to hear their opinions and experiences. But there were also negative moments. I did not like the organization on the part of the organizers. The Ukrainians lived separately from everyone else, there were few activities during the sessions, and our facilitator sometimes might not take into account some of our thoughts or statements. But I have only positive memories thanks to the Ukrainian team and participants from other countries, with whom we managed to communicate well.

Italy is a wonderful country. Walking through the picturesque streets was simply amazing. It was sad that the Ukrainian team was housed separately from everyone else, but I still managed to talk a little with the other participants. Among the activities we did, the one organized by Vlada and Katya was the most enjoyable and memorable.

This was my fourth project, and overall, it left positive memories. The best part was the people. It was great to socialize, talk about different topics, and improve my English at the same time. I was happy with the good connection especially with Ukrainian team, especially with my roommate Maria. We had less interaction with participants from other countries—we lived separately, and often didn’t feel like going to meet them. I think that was a mistake on the part of the hosting organization.
And to end on a positive note: our walks to the sea were amazing. Two hours through the fields in the fresh air—just what was needed. Overall, I recommend it!
