We are looking for 2 Polish volunteers (18-30 y.o.) for long term service in our NGO (October 2017-October 2018).<\/p>\n
There are expected 3 main places for activities: office, school (1day\/week), library (2days\/week). Our office (named Space of Ideas) in the evening transforms on place for meetings, presentations, workshops, concerts etc. So main activities in Space of Ideas will be: leading English Speaking club, help in moderation discussions after movie screenings, communication with visitors, internet surfing (looking for opportunities for cooperation, possibilities of fundraising), work with our Internet pages (social networks, site). And once a week we expect from volunteer(s) public event for visitors (workshop, presentation, games etc).
\nWe expect that in schools once a week volunteer(s) provide lectures\/workshops\/presentations about their country(traditions, history, educational system, young people’s lifestyles), EU, Erasmus+ program.
\nActivities in libraries will happen twice a week: table games, language classes (English\/Polish), lectures\/workshops\/presentations.<\/p>\n
The volunteers will live in one flat (with separated rooms, common kitchen and bathroom) with other volunteer(s) or volunteer will be hosted in family. The organization will not provide the cleaning or diary staff.
\nMain local transport in Kremenchuk is marshrutka (small bus). In case of necessary using local transport HO will cover travel expenses in the city in the presence of tickets. HO covers these expenses only if they connected with work of EVS-volunteer (10 EUR per month).
\nEach volunteer will receive 100 EUR per month for food.<\/p>\n
Both volunteers will attend On-arrival and Mid-term trainings organizad by SALTO.
\nLanguage support for volunteer will be arranged by the hosting organization. Volunteer can choose Russian or Ukrainian language s\/he wants to learn. Language classes will be provided by teacher from Kremenchuk National University 2 times per week or by private teacher.
\nAccording to need to work with Photoshop or other PC-soft for designing posters\/leaflets HO ready to provide learning sessions for volunteer(s).<\/p>\n
We can host volunteers only 18-30 y.o.. We do not have special demands to the applicants, but pay attention to their motivation, communication abilities and interest in the topic of our project. Preferably the applicants should have some experience of their own involvement in social initiatives and should be ready to spread European initiatives and values, support the idea of European integration and international cooperation, to share their culture and language and be interested in developing Ukrainian culture. It would be great if volunteers will have basic skills of Adobe Photoshop. Or ready to get this skills \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
