\nOur project takes place in the heart of Europe, in Hungary. Activities will be in the Northern Plains Region, in Debrecen. Our organization works on a voluntary basis since 2001. We organize our own running race since 2007.<\/p>\n
\n1) School programs and preventional work \u2013 Volunteers will visiting schools and promote the healty and active lifestyle for the youngsters. They organize workshops and lead non-formal games for them. This program help them to get to know about the Erasmus+ projects and EVS. They have possibility to prove their English skills also.
\nWe have really good connections with some local shools where the very welcome the EVS volunteers.<\/p>\n
\nWe have an own running race call Oxigen Cup, from October till March we organize six events. More than 700 runners take part in each of our race. Because of this big number we need the help of our volunteers. In these events the EVS volunteers and the local volunteers can cooperate together.
\nDuring the running race the volunteers can take part in several fields eg. administration, logistic activities, other preparation work etc.<\/p>\n
\nPromotion of the Erasmus+ program, EVS, healthy lifestyle and running in schools, community spaces, own programs and making the needed promotion materials. For example: photo and video making; blog-Facebook-webpage update; newspaper editing. Organizing activities during the runner championships together with the Hungarian volunteers (flash mob, poster, musical-dancing production).<\/p>\n
\nOur EVS volunteers get the opportunity to realize own projects as they want.
\nIt is really important that volunteers be able to work independently, make decisions and realize the project with the best of their knowledge. Of course the host organization gives guidelines to be able to.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 participating in facilitating youth exchanges, trainings
\n\u2022 organizing free time activities for youth (table tennis, board game tournaments etc. )
\n\u2022 depending on his\/her skills creating and leading his own regular workshops like English discussion club, recycling, own language classes, dancing, media, music, creative writing workshops etc.
\n\u2022 volunteers will be expected to write a blog, post information about their activities on social media.
\nVolunteers can join local interest groups depending on his\/her wishes like choirs, dancing groups, painting, different sports.
\nThe activities will be shaped for individual EVS project and volunteer. All these responsibilities will develop new competences and improve the ones volunteers already have. Volunteering in our organization will definitely develop volunteers skills in areas of art, communication, working into multicultural environment, team work, dealing with unexpected situations.
\nOther important info:
\nMost likely volunteers will live in a shared 2 bedroom apartement.
\nTask related support will be provided by experienced staff of organisation and each volunteer will have his\/her mentor.
\nFood and pocket money will be provided by host organisation. Volunteers will be covered by EVS group insurance plan.
