Recently, Mindfull Motion training took place in Croatia. Participants Alina and Lesia returned, filled with new knowledge and experience. The participants want to share with us all their thoughts of the trip and the training itself

Lesya
“For the past 2-3 years, I’ve been working with young people at non-formal educational events. I have noticed the incredible difficulty of participants concentrating on theoretical and practical information for longer than 15 minutes. I use physical exercises, that help the group to remove the physical load from sitting and to bring attention back to the topic of conversation.
That is why the topic of the Mindfull Motion training was very important for me. The exchange of experience, new knowledge and skills in the field of movement activities will help to diversify my own approaches for working with young people.
In addition, working in the environment, full of qualified participants, creates additional opportunities for creating connections between different communities and an incredible exchange of experience even in time free from studies.“

Alina
“Mindful motion training in Croatia became one of the strongest in my practice. Techniques of dynamic and static meditation, working with emotions and the body are what I already use in my own work. They help train attention, calm down and are useful for people prone to high levels of anxiety and panic attacks.

In addition to the material offered by the organizing team, we had the opportunity to share our experiences and conduct our workshops. The group gathered strong and interested. Therefore, the program included sessions on self-defense, theatrical improvisation, team building, meditations for children, yoga and the inclusion of music in the educational process. Every single block was interesting. Also, the places where they are held become a feature of such events. Ours took place in the small town of Fujine, in the mountains and with a picturesque lake. I am sure that it is not often offered in tourist programs. But it is in such places that you can get to know the host country better. So, learn English and use these opportunities for self-development“
