Today I had third Polish lesson for beginners in the library on Vodokanal. About 23-24 people came. They are good students, they quickly understand and learn our difficult alphabet and basic Polish phrases. Teaching my native language is an interesting experience and something totally new to me . Thanks to these lessons, I have a chance to see my native language from different perspective – f.e.. I noticed, how difficult and – sometimes – nonsensical Polish orthography can be 🙂 I’m also learning from my students many new words in Russian and Ukrainian.
